Hi, Needed guide to watch Detective Conan

Hi all,  just started to watch Detective Conan currently 10+ episode =) as well as this forums too =)

 

 

 

Needed a full guide on which episode should I watch the OVAs as well as the movie ?  Thanks

Movies and OVAs are non-canon so you don't have to watch them to keep up with the plot.

AO (anime original) episodes usually don't contribute to the plot either.

However, I would recommend watching OVA 9 just because it's such a good rendition of what could happen if Conan never finds the antidote.

Also, although the older episodes seem to be of lesser quality than the newer ones, I highly recommend you catch up on those if you find the time because they really do a great job capturing the essence of what Detective Conan really is. The newer episodes tend to be lacking in that aspect. 

 

If you don't want to be spoiled, don't go on the wiki too often because most of the pages contain major spoilers.

Thanks a lot, But what do you mean as for the episode? Doesn't the episode 1~ to 7xx and more follow by sequence ?

 

And as for the guide I ask it because for Pokémon you need to watch in between the episode and OVA/Movie to avoid spoiler like ash or his friends got new Pokémon...  So I am asking does the show have new character or etc.. in between those episode ? So I can watch it in the right era haha...

All the episodes are in chronological order, if that's what you're asking.

Movies usually don't contain spoilers (movie 18 will, so you might want to hold off on that one). They might introduce new characters, but they don't advance the plot in any way.
