Aries Bless 18 Report post Posted December 27, 2015 During the story it seems like Bourbon is very courious about Conan. As an undercover policeman from PSB it could be easy for him to find out that 'Edogawa Conan' doesn't exist. If he did research on Kogoro Mouri, which he most likely did, since it was his mission to watch him, he could quickly realize the difference in Mouri's business before and after Conan moved in. And when Conan said 'Liar' and Bourbon responds 'You are the one to talk', it sounds like he knows that Conan isn't who he say he is. So do you think there is going to be a part where Bourbon investigate more in Conan? Will he figure out his real identity?
Serinox 127 Report post Posted December 27, 2015 The liar conversation was most likely referencing their previous exchanges; Conan lied about not knowing Rikumichi Kusuda and Bourbon lied about not being an enemy of the bad guys. We have no indication of Bourbon being on to Conan's identity, except that he calls him "a terrifying man" once, but most likely he was just referring to Conan's involvement in the whole Akai business and that Conan is way smarter than he lets on. But beyond that, I'm not sure that Gosho will want to go down that route, so I don't think Bourbon will discover his identity (besides, Vermouth would probably kill him if he found out, besides for his other knowledge).
EthanHunter 7 Report post Posted January 9, 2016 Yeah, Bourbon shouldn't really have a reason to investigate much on Conan, just knowing that he is on par with his intelligence and that he is on the FBI's side and against the BO should be enough info for Bourbon. Gosho would solely focus on Bourbon vs. Akai for now, and maybe someday they will team up and go against the BO.
