It was Matt Anglins birthday. He invited his three closest friends to his house for the party . His friends were: Corneal Baker, Rachel Peters, Simon Elliot. They all gave him a gift each. Corneal-a watch,Rachel-a chain,Simon- a shirt. After Matt opened the third gift he croaked. The forensics lab reported there was no poison on any of the gifts! Shinichi asked them all one question: Did Matt have any weird habits? Corneal said he licked his finger before opening a gift, Rachel said he put his hands in his pocket a lot, Simon said he pushed up his glasses. Detective Kudo gave a knowing look and walked away. Who did it and how?

Can you tell us in what order the gifts were given?

A couple questions / tips:

1) Watches come in a small box so the posion wasnt on the watch or was it not on the box

2) Did the gifts come with cards?

3) Licking the Poison is most likely the way he got poisoned

4) once getting a watch the first instinct is to put it on.

5) What was the cause of death (If it was affixiation than Rachel would be the main suspect.)

good questions

No poison was on the gifts themselves, they all were of course wrapped with wrapping paper, the gifts did not come with cards.

Cause of death hint: there was a hint of almond smell on his breath. the forensics team haven't brought all the results back yet.

I want someone to figure the cause of death out with this hint, if you need more help refer to Manga file 725 White day murder

Well because its Cyanide heres my conclusion.

It was Rachel. Cyanide can kill you in 10 seconds. Judging from the time frame it has to be her. I dont know what the necklace has to do with it though.

Sorry for the wait, here's my Whodunit ;-)

Michael Jackson Was Murdered

11:30 PM Michael Jackson was in his room preparing to go to sleep when there was a knock on the door. “Come in,” Michael said. The door opened and the culprit came in. Michael smiled at the culprit, and said “hello” then returned back to what he was doing, a few seconds later, a blade was drawn from its cover, and was stabbed into Michael’s back. Michael fell to the ground and the culprit ran away.

At 10:00 AM in the morning Rahl Dahl the butler knocked on the door of Michael Jackson’s room. But there were no answer so he opened the door. A dead body was lying right before his eyes. He fell to the ground with a cry. With that everyone in the house came running.

10.30 AM the police arrived and started to investigate. The suspects were brought to the inspector, and the questioning begun.

The first suspect was George Bush. The inspector asked him; what was the reason in coming to Michael Jackson’s home. George Bush’s answer was he had a debt to pay, so he came to discuss it with Michael.

Second suspect was Osama Biladin. The inspector asked him what was his reason in coming to Michael home. The answer was; to sell some weapons for Michael security.

Third suspect was Lady Gaga; the inspector asked her what was her reason for coming to Michaels home. The answer was: To visit her ex-boyfriend, who was Michael.

10:40 AM a Police officer come rushing in to the living room, and shouted “inspector! We have found something next to the victim’s body.”

“What is it?” asked the inspector

“It seems like a dying message written in blood.” Answered the Police officer

“What does it say?” The inspector asked once agene.

“It not written alphabet, I think it some kind of code’ said the police officer

“A code?” asked the inspector in surprise.

“Yes, here the photo oh it” the police officer handed the photo to the inspector.

The inspector read what was written out loud to everyone “12,1,4,25 - 7,1,7,1” after reading it he put it down on the table and said “what does that mean?”

Rahl Dahl laughed out loud and said: “I know who the murder is.”

The inspector turned to him and asked in a loud voice “who?”

“why don’t we let the detectives solve it?! Asked Rahl Dahl

“what detectives” the inspector asked.

“Them” the butler Pointed at the door way, where a bunch of detective where standing.

“What are you all doing here?” asked the inspector.

“We where hired to investigate this case” answered the group of detective in one voice.

“By who?” shouted the inspector!

“By Sherlock Holmes” answered one of the detectives.

“Sherlock Holmes?” the inspector asked in a shock

“yes” said a detective.

“Oh well, I will leave it to you detectives then” said the inspector and left the room.

When i tried it on my friends a while back, they didn't get it, so I'll have to redo it so that people will understand it properly, hopefully it won't take long, perhaps it'll be ready later today. This it really fun^^

I think I'm done now but could anyone read it before I post so that I'll know if it's solvable, neither my friends nor my boyfriend (he forced me to mention that he was more then a friend) think it is, but they are not very good at riddles and such^^ if you would like to volunteer please send me a message.^^

Here I go^^

Inspector Landy looked around as he entered the small courtyard where the body had been found, at the center there was a clock with its face facing the sky. The round pillar it was resting on was slightly tilted so that the number six was about four inches lower than the number twelve, the whole thing was about four feet in diameter. The body was draped over the clock, both hands wrapped around the clock hands, the clock had stopped at 8.45.

“I assume that he died around a quarter to nine then?” said Inspector Landy to his colleague Dr. Neill. The Dr. who was just starting his examination of the body, looked up at the inspector with a frown on his face.

“I can’t say for sure yet, he’s been out here all night so the body is all cold and stiff, that’ll make it harder to determine the time of death. He was stabbed in the back though, but we haven’t found the weapon yet. It was probably a knife that the gardener uses, he forgot it in this courtyard yesterday.”

He went back to examine the body and Inspector Landy walked over to one of the officers who had been first to arrive at the crime scene.

“What happened here Jim?” he asked him.

“We don’t know much about it yet sir, only that he was found at 7 am by the gardener. The victim was Howard White.” said Jim.

“Howard White, the famous singer? The one that lost his voice in that accident twenty years ago?

“Yes” said Jim. “He lost his wife in the same accident and then he moved here with his two daughters and he has never left the estate since.”

“Do you know anything else about the crime?”

“He didn’t get stabbed by the clock, he got stabbed over there by the stairs up to the main house, and then he crawled over to the clock. It must have been someone from the inside, the estate is well guarded and this courtyard and the stairs can be seen from any of the houses.”

“Who lives there? I thought he lived alone.”

“He did except for some servants. But his daughters each have a mansion on the estate.”

The officer pointed past the clock to the north, on a magnificent mansion, then to the east on a beautiful but smaller mansion, and then finally to the west on a mansion identical to the one in the east. “Mr. White himself lived the north mansion, his oldest daughter Hilda lives in the east and his youngest, Hedwig, lives in the last one. Apparently their dad was a little overprotective; he didn’t want them to leave the estate, according to the butler that’s why they live in separate houses. He didn’t” Inspector Landy nodded just as Dr. Neill walked over.

“I have a preliminary TOD for you” he said. “I can’t be completely sure until I get him back to the morgue but I’d say around six pm, not earlier than five and not later than eight anyway.”

“Thank you Thomas, you can take away the body now, and call me as soon as you know for sure.”

Dr. Neill walked away and Inspector Landy turned to the officer. “Ask all the suspects for their whereabouts around six pm last night.” The officer walked away to do so.

While he was waiting Inspector Landy walked past the clock and up the steps to the main house. He then turned to look out over the courtyard the midday sun was right in fromt of him and he shaded his eyes to look at the crime scene. He looked at the clock thinking that it would have been more practical if it wasn’t upside-down, then he could have read it from inside the mansion.

“Inspector!” shouted the officer as he ran up the stairs. “The servants all have alibis, they were all having dinner at the time of the crime. So the only ones who could have done it are his daughters, they both claim to have been in their bedrooms, but no one can confirm it.” He said in a more silent voice as he reached the Inspector. Inspector Landy surveyed the scene as he thought about it, then he realized something and a smile dawned on his lips.

“Where are they now?” he then asked.

“Still in their rooms sir, according to the servants none of them have left their rooms since last night, but any of them could have sneaked out by a window.”

“You still haven’t found the murder weapon?”

“No sir, we’ve searched the whole garden but still no sign of it”

“Then I think I know where you should look.” said Inspector Landy.

The Inspector obviously knows who the murderer is, do you?

here is what i think:

his oldest daughter Hilda of the east, the murder weapon is at her masion.Well its like this, The clock was most then likely our victims dying message. It wouldn't make sense otherise, a clock isn't usually upside down. our victims hands were on it and he ws stabbed in the back. The people in his mansion had solid alibis so we can remove them from suspision, but there where 2 people without an alibi. That would be his 2 daughters, one lives in the west mansion, the other in the east. The clock was set for 8:45 pointing toward the west, but since it was upside down it means the east. The victim used the clock to tell us who commited the crime. She probably resented her dad for taking away her freedom for some reason. Whatever the case the culprit still has the murder wepon around somewhere because she had no time to stick around with blood on her. She would have to run in her house to clean up(this didn't seem planned by how the victim was found) If she wasn't in a hurry she would have noticed the victim wasn't dead yet. She couldn't bury it or someone would probably heard her shoveling, unless it was done by her mansion in the garden. case closed
