Kitty Paw 34 Report post Posted February 26, 2015 *facepalms* On My Mind: As always, as always.... I take that back, I had a four hour test and we only got 30 minutes for each of my 3 classes. It wasn't as bad I though it would be I feel really bad...I'm so mean to him, guess I should be nicer...

Kenzi 146 Report post Posted February 26, 2015 Yeah I haven't had a consistent sleep schedule for a good... almost 4 years now. I'm naturally a night person so it's not even intentional when I stay up late most of the time. (and I learned a couple years ago that I can go on >3 hours of sleep if needed so that certainly doesn't help my "...one more episode" mindset haha) Having to worry about your parents finding you awake at unreasonable hours sounds horrible. No one with school the following day is usually happy being up after 1 or 2am anyways. Good luck unscrewing your sleep schedule btw as it can feel unnecessarily hard sometimes u_u Having a fitness buddy is really nice, especially if the like mental aspect of exercising/getting yourself to exercise is hard. (Hopefully you'd choose someone to work out with you who has a similar stamina so neither of you overwork yourself) And at the school I went to my freshman year, all during the winter the track team would always run through the second and third floors for a good thirty minutes or so after school got out. I have no idea how they managed to bring themselves to do that day after day while it was cruddy outside since the heat would be on and everything. Oh geez, 4 years? I'll assume that your parents are generally lax with your sleep schedule then? o: That "one more episode" mindset is one of the primary reasons why I haven't been watching much anime recently. I have a difficult time with self-control when it comes to these kind of things, so I understand where you're coming from, ehehe.. I get that my parents care for my well-being, but sometimes homework and studying do need to be prioritized over sleep. Sleeping isn't going to help me take that test if I don't know the information well enough, haha. lol fixing my sleep schedule is a lot harder than I thought. Yesterday, or today rather, I found myself awake at 3am still studying for that calc quiz I was paranoid about. My plan was to get my butt into bed by 1am at the latest, but I guess that didn't work out too well. Thank you for the sentiment though! I think fitness buddies are best for sports like track since it's nice to have someone to take your mind off of the stress you're putting on your body when running. The whole idea of winter track is a strange concept to me. Neither running out in the cold nor running in the school's heating sound pleasant, so I'm not entirely sure what motivates them to want to take winter track. lol. OMM: ... In all seriousness though, why is a high school senior like me staying up so late? Really, why am I still trying and working so hard? I think I need to take a step back, breathe deeply, and get my priorities straight. Thursday is going to be hell and I know it. If I stay up late tonight, I'm going to be a mess later today and that won't bode well for tomorrow. A lot of things need to get done by then, but they won't get done if my mind isn't focused. I guess I should sleep now, before I ruin my health any further. Yes, that would be a good idea. I don't even know why I was compelled to write this. It isn't very well-written or well-organized because my brain is a mashed potato right now, and I should be using this time to sleep. Alright, carry on, nothing to see here. Just me rambling on about nothing, haha...................................... Perhaps it's a sign that senioritis hasn't gotten the best of you yet? But I do agree; enjoying the remaining days of the school year instead of staying up so late isn't such a bad idea. Haha, you can call me a hypocrite since my sleep schedule is pretty messed up right now, but nevertheless, I hope everything went well for you today! In fact, life's actually been more than awesome. Of course, I'm not entirely sure because my brain hasn't been awake recently and my vision is always a bit blurry at around this time of night... Stayed up later than I had planned again, whoops. Am I ready for the calc test tomorrow? Well, guess we'll be finding out in a few hours. Time to show this hell of a Thursday who's boss. Whatever, the easy quiz from a while ago will balance this grade out. OMM 1: My Shulk amiibo was delayed. I feel kind of bad that the guy giving it to me paid for 2-day shipping when it's going to take 3 days. OMM 2: That feeling when you send something due before midnight right at 11:59 pm. Joking, that was a terrible feeling; I am never going to procrastinate again. . . . Joking, we know that's not going to happen.

Joking, we know that's not going to happen. welp, my grades got updated today. that calc quiz didn't raise my grade by much, so I'm still a bit borderlined. ...at least it sounds like you're not going borderline! haha, the closest I've had to an 11:59pm clutch was when I handed in an essay a 11:56pm. close enough? lol -- OMM: this #teamblackandblue and #teamwhiteandgold freaking blew up the internet today. I'm on the white and gold side. Even the physics teacher addressed in in class. Even the bio teacher addressed it in class. Even the custodians and vice principal addressed it during lunch. But even on the "enhanced picture" (right side), I still think it's white and gold ... despite the dress actually being black and blue. what.

(I thought I'd already replied to this but then I realized I hadn't whOOPS) They're not particularly strict about my sleep schedule and my room's kinda out of the way so it's not like they make a ton of out their way trips to see if there's any light coming from my room. My parents' stance on it is that if I can still get up on time and get to wherever I need to go on time it's not really something they'll force me to fix. It's unfortunate school has to come before sleeping sometimes :/ At least it's not like that all time. And I had a few of those moments just this past week as well haha. It was like 11pm and I told myself I'd be in bed before 2am but before I knew it it was almost 4am. I don't even know what I did in that period of time that was so time consuming. I have no idea either but then again I don't really like running in general. I've never thought having a fitness buddy like that before. It does sound like talking to a friend would help distract you from focusing too much on your exhaustion when you're running though. If you talked too much that could probably wear you out faster though haha OMM: I was reading Boku no Hero Academia earlier and the one character called the protag a "dirty nerd" and I've just been thinking about that throughout the day and laughing occasionally I'm very productive if you can't tell I just "you dirty nerd how dare you"
Kitty Paw 34 Report post Posted February 28, 2015 *sobs* Ugh, I hate this freakin' day! I took my binder out and this "Very Important Document/Report" fell out and my science teacher thought I was passing notes to my BFF, so she took it away. She shredded it without reading what I wrote on there. Now what am I supposed to do?! My life is ruined....I need it for the presentation tomorrow at 6:00 or else something VERY bad is gonna happen...I can't live on like this....Why did this have to happen to me?
