I don't?

Are you sure?

Do you have the logs of our first IRC conversation? You might want to read them again

No, and I don't need them

you don't know what you're getting into, get out while you still can

Maybe you need to stop seeing a stalker and start seeing a... well... person, willing to listen. I know it is hard, but it's worth to try :V

I've tried to tell.

People came

People listened

People didn't understand

People said it was no big deal

and people left

I've learned to stop trusting the hard way

You remind me of someone, which I care a lot about.

People came --> Means they were interested in knowing what troubles you. You need to care at least a little about the other to come and ask.

People listened --> Another sign that they care about it and want to help.

People didn't understand --> Everyone's life and experieces are different, so I can see that there's people who don't understand things that happened/happens to you.

People said it was no big deal --> Since they can't find a way to make you feel better about it, they are trying to make you forget about it. If you can't make a friend feel good, at least make him not feel bad, ne?

and people left --> All I can say to this is: :(, but I see that there's people that didn't left.

I know that trusting people can turn into this, but it doesn't (and shouldn't) mean you stop trusting everyone and everything for a lifetime. People are stupid, hurting, only care about themselves, and a long list of adjetives that you can probably fill pages and pages of it, but there's also good things, a LONG list of them, that you shouldn't ignore because you want to escape from the bad ones.

"1 good thing happens after 1000 bad ones" is a phrase I've heard from this someone I mentioned at the start of my post, and you can probably agree to it. Sadly, such is life, full of bad things which you have to go through to reach the good ones, if you're lucky. But you have the possibility to reach the good things, to enjoy them, they make you smile. If you ditch those good things to try to escape from the bad things, it will only lead to suffering.

.... Ok, maybe I rambled a little there

Don't be so down. Everybody has their own issues. You're not alone and don't feel that way. Even if there aren't people in real life there are always friends on the internet willing to help you and even if there isn't anything wrong with you, finding a therapist wouldn't hurt.

i know, but the internet is just...so unreliable

you know nothing about the people on the other side of the screen

you don't know how much you can or should trust them

and there are things that arent meant to be shared

But their words can help you. So what if they aren't that close to you? Their advice and calming words may help. I know it's worked for me a couple of times.

If it will release anxiety and pain then they need to be shared. It's silly to think differently. Those are things to share with a therapist and the like. Never. Stop. Trying. If you give up now that makes you weak- and nobody wants that title. It's okay to lean on somebody professional.

I won't give up. I never give up. But it hurts to keep standing like this.

but so far time has only made me disagree, more and more and more as it passes

Well, from my point of view: If you keep stuck in your loop of peole coming, not understanding and leaving, then I understand that for every loop the feeling just keeps getting worse. The loop generates when the misunderstanding happens, so they key to breaking the loop resides there, which you probably already knew. Anyone can make the little difference to break the loop, but you're the one who's in charge of making that difference. I know it's hard, I know you've probably tried already a 1000 times, but well, such is life, and as such, you're the one that makes the differences in your life.

Then don't stand the same way. Try a new approach.

Not like you would have told me about it right away :P You need some sort of conversation before getting to that.

... trying?
