She sparks Harper and Zeke's relationship and everything seems to be going well. Max says that there was one warning her forgot to write down, but he doesn't remember. All he remembers is their Dad saying to not leave cake frosting lying around because it could attract ants. Later, Alex realizes that the spell literally causes sparks to fly when the two touch each other...and this is where we start. Alex: Justin, Justin, Justin (her older brother), something's wrong. I put this spell between Harper and Zeke and now there's lightning between them if they try to touch. Justin: Sparks fly? You can't use that on people! It fires up their emotions and anything can happen. Harper and Zeke could become super charged. Alex: (moment of realization) Oh...Max! (angry) The warning on the spell wasn't about cake frosting, it was about using it on people! Max: (thoughtfully) Right, frosting on people is bad...
