The Picture Speaks (写真は語る Shashin wa Kataru?) is the twelfth chapter of the manga of Detective Conan. It was written by Gosho Aoyama, drawn by him and his assistants and first released in Shōnen Sunday #16/1994 on March 23rd, 1994 and later on reprinted as part of Volume 2 on July 18th, 1994.

Narita Airport

The airport everyone gathers and Conan Edogawa and Yutaka Abe have their duel at the end is the real Narita International Airport on the border between the towns of Narita and Shibayama in the Chiba Prefecture, which is part of the Greater Tokyo Area. It was the biggest and most important airport serving Tokyo back then, before it was replaced in this function by Haneda Airport. It was also where the Princess Anne of Sublina and Yaiba Kurogane arrived in Japan in Magic Kaito and Yaiba respectively.
