Apotoxin or Apoptoxin?
Flipping through Volume 24 of the English translation by Viz after seeing a query on Tumblr I discovered that the translation decided to use "Apotoxin" in Anita's (Haibara's) explanation of its connection to apoptosis. - I prefer Apoptoxin, although I don't really have a strong opinion on the matter because it's a made up word in a foreign language. Looking at the raw of volume 24, I see that the nickname for APTX 4869 is written as 出来損(な)いの名探偵. "Good-for-nothing (Great) Detective" seems to be a more accurate translation of this term.
