Personality
She is a shy and timid little girl that had difficulty to integrate herself in the class so Sumiko Kobayashi, her teacher, decided to pretend to be missing so kids would team together and include her as part of the group.
Trivia
- Maria's character design looks a bit like Keiko Momoi's design since both have brown hair, wear glasses and the same hairpin although Keiko is older.
