Tamanosuke Ito (伊東 玉之助 Itō Tamanosuke) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan.
Contents
Background
A new transfer student in Ran and Sonoko's class, Tamanosuke Ito is the leader of a drama group that has been going through hard times after the death of his father, the original leader. As a child, Tamanosuke often played girl roles. Megumi Ito is his little sister.
Personality
Tamanosuke is a good boy, very scrupulous at work and very protective of Megumi.

He does resemble Shinichi a little.

The Traveling Drama Troupe Murder Case (Anime: 126-127)
Ran, Sonoko, Conan, and the Detective Boys try to help him with his newest play, one about the legendary thief Edo Boy, by giving away flyers and checking on their well being. But two deaths happen all of a sudden, revealing some rather dark secrets within the group. Tamanosuke is injured and briefly falls into unconsciousness after the murder. Kogoro and Conan believe the latter comes less from his injuries and more from mental fatigue.
