When Conan returns home, he discovers that the one year supply of beer that Owada supposedly won is a lie because the draw had been postponed and hadn't started yet. Trivia
- Although only two gadgets are stated to have been used in this case: Detective Boys Badge and Voice-Changing Bowtie, before Conan used the Bow tie, he had already used both, the Power-Enhancing Kick Shoes and the Anywhere Ball Dispensing Belt offscreen, since a soccer ball was seen flying at the culprit in order to prevent a crime, before it took place.
- Interesting note: When Conan was speaking in Kogoro's voice, and created a silhouette, it was of Shinichi Kudo, and not Kogoro at all, however it would probably be difficult to make a silhouette of someone elese, but Shinichi's silhouette can clearly be seen.
- This is one of the first cases, that Conan solves a crime using Kogoro's voice, and Kogoro is nowhere near the Deduction show, although this particular deduction show, was simply to try and prevent the crime, so in short, it was only for the Culprit.
