Situation
Conan and the Detective Boys see Chiba at convenience store, so they decide to follow him to a newly constructed apartment where he is on stakeout with Takagi. They are looking for the person who robbed a jewelry store among the third floor residents of the apartment across the street.

They are having stakeout on the residents after they caught a serial bulgar who has the rings from the jewelry store and testified that they stole it from third floor rooms of the apartment.

Later, in order to see if there is some jewelry left inside the rooms, the Detective Boys decide to throw their toys to the balcony of each room, and pretend to take the toy.
