It's OK to use text from Wikipedia because of [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Text_of_Creative_Commons_Attribution-ShareAlike_3.0_Unported_License Wikipedia's license]. Basically Wikipedia allows people to take and remix there stuff, so long as it is distributed under a similar license. We actually have a banner o the main page saying it's Ok to borrow from Wikipedia. While I couldn't find a statement of the type of license this site is operating under (I think we should have one), it's clear that DCWiki is operating a very similar way to Wikipedia, DCW isn't charging money for access or rights to see it, and another Wiki could borrow from this one without problem. I'm not really sure what to make of the "one point" business. I think it might be a mistranslation of "ワンポイント (n) (1) (abbr) stitched ornament (wasei: one-point); small needlepoint design". Another translation I have doesn't refer to "one point" at all. Your one point about how scar Akai obtained the hat is good. If you would like to stick it in yourself, please do so, or I could write it, however you choose. I reverted to a previous version of the Haibara profile picture. The reason is because that version had Haibara's most recent hair color and showed her complete head rather than being cropped at the top. Hello Kora! First of all, welcome to DCW and the wiki! :D Thank you for your edits and uploads! We greatly appreciate your effort! :) Just one thing I would like to mention. When you upload Keyholes, featured Detective, Aoyama's death and Conan side images, could you make sure their sizes are exactly 145x215? It's the standard size for the profile box of the manga volumes (and will best fit the template as well as improve page loading in general). Feel free to re-upload new versions of the the ones you already uploaded with the new sizes. That would be really cool! Thanks again and keep up the great work! ^^ --Maurice 23:21, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Hey, Kaoko!

You're taller than I am, ahaha! I'm just 160cm. (>.<) Anyway, happy DCWiki-ing! --lashedcheek 02:51, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Mark Shi?

Hey, Kan-chan. First of all, you can can "Kan-chan (xXLeration) to your nicknames. Second of all, I put in Mark Shi in Google Translate, but do you have a better japanese transmigration? --RosaBlader strikes again! forum account...! 04:52, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

  • Mark Shi is technically my real name. Can you put it in Japanese kanji or katakana or something so I can place it under "Japanese name"? --xXLeration strikes again! forum account...! 03:31, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Stuff from Wikipedia.

It's OK to use text from Wikipedia because of Wikipedia's license. Basically Wikipedia allows people to take and remix there stuff, so long as it is distributed under a similar license. It's not a problem. I just wanted to point it out because I saw your edit summary, and checked for where the text it came from. It is standard procedure to delete the copyright violations completely off the wiki because all old edits stay in history. We already have a main page for what editor added in anyway. I think you did the right thing, but I was worried you did it for the wrong reasons. Chekhov MacGuffin talk 19:59, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Scar Akai's hat of evil.

Chekhov MacGuffin talk 11:22, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
