Tsukumo (九十九 Tsukumo) is a character in the manga franchise Detective Conan.

Background
Tsukumo is a police detective working for Shizuoka Prefectural Police's headquarters and seems to have been recently affected to the position or paired with Sango Yokomizo, since he doesn't know about Kogoro Mouri often solving cases along with Conan[1]. He is most likely an assistant-inspector or sergeant, as his rank is lower than inspector Yokomizo's.

Detective Tsukumo is an obedient, but rather slow-witted detective, since he does follow his superiors' and Conan's orders just fine, but doesn't seem to be able to make deductions by himself. He also questions the validity of Conan's deductions and follows Yokomizo's theory at first.

Shortly after the murder of beach house manager Katsunori Usui, Sango Yokomizo, Tsukumo and the forensics team arrive at the scene and quickly analyse the body. Conan then interrupts them and corrects them, and Yokomizo introduces him to the young detective. He assists the interrogation and runs a few errands to check details with forensics.
