Toshimichi Okawa (大川 俊道 Ōkawa Toshimichi ), born 2 April 1957, is a Japanese screenplay writer and director famous for his participation in different Japanese animes.
He graduated from Meiji University, when he was attending university, while assimilated into the film study group, he simultaneously worked part-time at the promotion section on the 7th floor of Toei Company. What is more, he also took part in the production of TV drama Seibu Keisatsu, which was appreciated by Hiroshi Kashiwabara. He also studied under the famous scriptwriter Ei Ogawa, as junior of Kazunari Kouchi. In 1981, he officially debuted in TV drama Taiyō ni Hoero!.
Currently, Okawa is running a film production company called "KOM" along with Hiroshi Kashiwabara and Atsushi Muroga.
