Akiko Motoyoshi (本吉 晃子 ,Motoyoshi Akiko) is a japanese animation director and character designer. She does key animation and animation director works in Detective Conan anime and movies, as well as character design.

Akiko Motoyoshi started animation in 2012 and became staff in Detective Conan for the first time in June 2015 for episode 783: The Scarlet Truth, as key animation. In July 2017, starting episode 866: The Betrayal's Stage (part 1), she was sub-character designer, assisting Masatomo Sudo and Nobuyuki Iwai.

In the movies, Motoyoshi first started as key animator in Sunflowers of Inferno, released in April 2015. She was also staff in December 2014 special The Disappearance of Conan Edogawa: The Worst Two Days in History and December 2016 special Episode One: The Great Detective Turned Small. She is still active in the series and sporadically has the role of sub-character design.

She is a regular participant in the JANICA animation event.
