Kaneto Shiozawa (塩沢 兼人 Shiozawa Kaneto ), born January 28, 1954, and died May 10, 2000, was a seiyu from Tokyo. His real name was Toshikazu Shiozawa (塩澤 敏一 Shiozawa Toshikazu ).
On May 9, 2000, at around 4pm, Shiozawa fell down the stairway of his home. At the time, he thought he was okay and could shake it off, but at around 10pm, he suddenly fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital. The next day, at 12:54am, he died of a cerebral contusion. He was 46. A Buddhist funeral has held at Housen Temple in Nakano, Tokyo.
In Detective Conan he was the original voice of Ninzaburo Shiratori, portraying him in the first four Movies as well as in his first two appearances in the anime (Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story and Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story 2).
