Chiaki Hashiba (橋場 千晶 Hashiba Chiaki, ??? – March 8, 2000) is a Japanese screenplay writer. Not a lot of information is known about her, except pertaining to her screenplay involvements and her identity as the teacher of Hideo Kobayashi (小林 秀夫).

Hashiba became active as a screenwriter since 1995, and mainly prodcued gangster-themed works. For example, KYO-DAN (狂弾) and New GONIN (新GONIN) etc. Apart from film and television works, she also once collaborated with a Japanese mangaka Kenji Okamura (岡村 賢二), which she served as the script for that manga, and they created the Empty Fist Killer (ベアマーダー流介) series[2].
On March 8, 2000, Chiaki died of illness[1]. One of her apprentices was found to be born in 1963, based on this, it is possible that Chiaki was above 50 years old before she passed away[3].
