A young man called Fusaya Oide arrives in front of the Mouri detective agency, wanting to hire Kogoro to solve the mystery of the death of his father, Raita Oide.

Suspects: Unknown
Last week at 4:30, Oide Raita falls asleep onto the floor, only to later die. At the same time, a robber enters the house to steal whatever belongings they can find.

Kogoro and Conan then met An Oide, the daughter of Raita and older sister of Fusaya, and Io Oide, the victim's wife and Fusaya's mother. Suddenly, due to the shock of losing her husband, Io loses consciousness. Meanwhile the ambulance takes Io to the hospital, Kogoro and Conan see a strange woman smiling.

Part 2

Kogoro and Conan discover the identity of the mysterious woman.
