Sonoko then questions Ran about what happened in London with Shinichi. When Ran tells her that Shinichi confessed to her Sonoko yells in shock making the whole crowd turn around! But soon the crowd lose interest and the girls continue chatting.

Sonoko thinks that under the circumstances of the situation Ran forced him to confess, and because she didn't tell him she loved him too Shinichi probably thinks she rejected him!
Conan knows this is nonsense and that he a.k.a. Shinichi knows Ran loves him because of the way she made him confess. "If you're a Detective then deduce what's in my heart!"

A man is muttering to himself about him wanting Kogoro to hurry up and finish. Ran intoduces herself as Kogoro's daughter and asks the man if he had business with Kogoro. He asks Ran if shes been to crime scenes with her father. Sonoko interrupts and says "all the time". They follow the man.
