Akako Koizumi, a witch attending Kaito's school, is furious to discover that there's only one man in the world who can resist her charms: Kaitou Kid. It's Valentine's Day so all the girls in school are giving chocolates to boys they care about. Kaito notices a bunch of boys surrounding Akako and decides to ask her for a chocolate. Akako tells Kaito she'll give him one...if he throws away all of the others he's received. Kaito declines leading Akako to realize that since he managed to escape her charm, he must be the Kaitou Kid. Akako decides that if she can't have Kaito fall in love with her, then no one shall have him and plots Kid's demise on top of the Tokyo Sky Tree after a heist. Can Kaito survive his heist and Akako's threat?

Aoko is upset because her father, Inspector Nakamori, will miss her birthday because he needs to chase Kid as Kid attempts to steal India's largest sapphire, The Blue Birthday. Kaito cheers her up by promising he'll perform a magic show at her birthday party. Kid successfully steals the Blue Birthday only to be stopped in his escape by a man named Snake who reveals that he killed Toichi Kuroba, the original Kaitou Kid, eight years ago. Will Kid escape this situation alive and make it to Aoko's party in time?

Ekoda High School Class 2-B goes on a trip to the mountains for some skiing but Kaito and Aoko quickly discover that Aoko can't ski very well at all. The teacher announces a costumed skiing competition in which boy-girl couples will ski down the slope together and Akako sees her chance to woo Kaito. Much to Kaito's surprise, Aoko partners up with another male student from the class who also can't ski well. To his dismay, Kaito ends up partnering with Akako. Neither Kaito nor Aoko are happy with this outcome. However, could an appearance by Kaitou Kid turn things around? | |||||||||||

At Ekoda Natural History Museum, a purple-eyed gem is believed to be Pandora. Kaitou Kid will not let this chance go in vain. Meanwhile the famous high school detective from London named Saguru Hakuba arrives bearing one goal in his mind, which is capturing Spider. Will Kaitou Kid succeed in getting the gem and finding what he is looking for before The Organization do? Will Saguru manage to stop Spider and arrest him?

Aoko and Kaito are invited by the head of The Magician Troupe Jody Hopper to see The Hopper Magic Show. However, Jody disdains magic due to her parents' death 10 years ago in an accident during a show. As a result, the show will be the last to be performed on stage. Meanwhile, Snake and The Organization targets the "Red Tear" ruby, which is owned by Jody Hopper. Therefore, Kaito decides to protect the ruby and its owner from The Organization. Later, Kaito meets the magician Paul, who tries to make Jody change her mind and let The Magician Troupe continue. Will Kaito manage to keep Jody and the Red Tear safe from Snake? Will he succeed to help Paul regarding Jody and the troupe? | |||||||||||

Spider returns to Japan after a show tour in Europe only to have another chance to kill Kaitou Kid. This time's heist will be for The Pink Sapphire exhibited at Ochima Art Museum. As Saguru is determined to catch Spider this time, he collects enough data about Kid in order to take one step closer to Spider. Therefore, Akako foresees with her crystal magic ball that Kid will be arrested by Saguru. Akako feels the need to help Kaito, and so she decides to disguise herself as Kaitou Kid. Will Saguru succeed in catching Spider? Will Akako accomplish her plan by helping Kaito? Moreover, will Spider finish his mission by killing Kid for good? | |||||||||||
