He meets Conan Edogawa in several cases and his great deduction impresses him only during Detective Takagi's kidnapping, but Conan justifies himself saying which, when he consulted Shinichi Kudo earlier on the phone, that's what he told him. In the end, along with Haibara, Conan shows to the police the trick used by the culprit, even if he making them to believe that is Professor Agasa to find the evidence.
