She is able to decipher the code hidden in the message, due to her ability in deciphering Tanuki Code: "It's good that you parted ways with him". Upon reading the text, Kaori's anger dissipates, and she does not shoot the groom: instead, she hands him a bouquet of flowers as a present. She then leaves with the cops and thanks Conan. She and her father are accused only of military weapons illegal possession, but the prosecutor's office decided to not pursue them for this time, so the case of the shooting never took place is closed. The case ends well, and at the end, the Detective Boys are seen excited about the coming visit to the Bell Tree Tower.</spoiler> |
