Genichirou Kaneshiro and Shizue Hayashi are probably the boss and Vermouth in disguise, who came to investigate about the mysterious person who claimed to be the creator of their computer virus. The victim Tokio Ebara died just like the crime lord James Moriarty, the university math professor whom the boss is modeled, and the culprit Akiko Sayama is also a high school math teacher. When the Night Baron destroys Haibara's floppy research about them on Professor Agasa's computer, Conan doesn't remember this old case (in both of them there was also inspector Sango Yokomizo), but it's very improbable that the Black Organization didn't spy about something which is their, and since it was only a mystery tour even the boss didn't risked to expose himself. The victim, the culprit and her boyfriend Satoru Maeda are clearly totally unrelated with the Black Organization. However, judging his unusual behavior and methods to investigate during the mystery tour (ask participants sudden questions and calculate the time to answer them, get detailed information about all participants, support reading emails and talking on the phone with his own computer which named "Satomi" after his late mother last year, etc.), Shiro Konno is probably a special agent disguised as a bank employee with mother complex, who came to spy Kaneshiro (indeed, his hotel room is 2002, just next to Kaneshiro's 2001) and also to investigate about that computer virus in order to have more information about the Black Organization. Much important, on his PC web, the calculation in time seconds for Kogoro's answer shows "DATA No 125426 - NY 12654": "NY" is clearly "New York", and indeed some secret services are located in the United States. The relation with his late mother is probably a justification to not left anyone touch it during his investigation. According to Kaneshiro, he was suspected of tampering with his bank's computer and was demoted to a menial position, but it could be a police's strategy to lie the enemy. The victim's ex-wife Hideko Kamijo is clearly totally unrelated with the Black Organization or any special intelligence agencies: she is a computer software company president who only wanted the virus to create an antivirus program for it, and Akiko's older brother's suicide is the only thing who knew. Furthermore, when Hideko accused he and Kaneshiro of more sinister intentions, Konno looked guilty and said nothing: his reason for wanting the virus is unconfirmed, and it's very improbable that Gosho Aoyama left that mystery unsolved. --185.93.230.10 12:00, 24 June 2021 (UTC)

While I'm flattered to have my manga summary turned into the anime summary as well, I feel like the level of detail might be overkill. The manga summaries go file by file, but the anime episode pages are formatted differently from the manga pages. If everyone is happy with that much wall-of-text, I'm okay with it, but the quick-summary got the job done, too. Ocianne (talk) 10:07, 23 February 2013 (PST)

While I'm flattered to have my manga summary turned into the anime summary as well, I feel like the level of detail might be overkill.
