Toyoto Kogiso (小木曽 豊斗 Kogiso Toyoto ), from Gunma, is a Japanese screenplay writer. His real name is Toyoichi Kogiso (小木曽 豊一 Kogiso Toyoichi ) and he is sometimes credited with the old kanji Toyoto Kogiso (小木曾 豊斗 Kogiso Toyoto / Ogiso Toyoto ) with the character for so differing a little.
Kogiso even began to write screenplays when he was a student. After he quit the Faculty of Letters, University of Tokyo, he made his debut as a screenwriter in the criminal TV drama Taiyō ni Hoero! (太陽にほえろ!) in 1980, which he wrote the 417th episode of the TV drama. After that, he wrote numerous screenplays for other TV dramas, they were mostly criminal, suspense, and historical dramas. According to Wikipedia, Detective Conan is the only anime that he was involved.
