Yuko Okabe (岡部 優子 Okabe Yūko?), not to be confused with an idol from the Pop Band AKB48 Yuko Oshima (大島 優子 Ōshima Yūko?), is a Japanese screenplay writer born in Tokyo.

Biography

After working as an editor at Kawade Shobō Shinsha (河出書房新社) and Chikuma Shobo (筑摩書房で編集), Okabe debuted in the TV anime Chibi Maruko-chan (ちびまる子ちゃん) as a screenwriter.
