I want to make a note here about spelling. I've seen two common English variants of "Tōto": Touto and Tohto. I am currently checking with a translator which one is the more proper of the two. "Toto" is practically unheard of as far as I can tell. In case you are wondering why, Tōto is a commonly used term to refer to things in manga/anime where Tokyo might be used in real life: e.g. Tokyo tower or Tokyo University. :Verdict is back. Either is acceptable. Google tells me Tohto is slightly more common than Touto as a spelling. We should probably pick one or the other. I slightly prefer Tohto because I have seen place names romanized similarly and it would keep people from "fixing" Touto to Toto. Touto vs Tohto vs Toto

Verdict is back. Either is acceptable. Google tells me Tohto is slightly more common than Touto as a spelling. We should probably pick one or the other. I slightly prefer Tohto because I have seen place names romanized similarly and it would keep people from "fixing" Touto to Toto. Chekhov MacGuffin talk 13:16, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
