Eriko Nemoto (根本 恵理子 Nemoto Eriko) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan.
Background
Eriko Nemoto is a 35 year-old systems engineer, who hired Kogoro to investigate the origin of 20 million yen that appeared in the belongings of his late husband Yutaka Nemoto, who died 50 days ago in a traffic accident. Hopefully, the origin of the money was not illegal, as Yutaka obtained the money after selling in auction the helmet of legendary racer Randy Shumacker, who was a gift from the racer to Yutaka. Eriko breaks into tears after learning that the 20 million yen was for buying a 10th anniversary gift.
Personality
She is shown as a kind and extremely loyal woman, as she stayed loyal to her husband even after he passed away. She also seems as a good wife and showed relief after she learned the real origin of the money.

Yutaka sold the helmet to buy a 10th anniversary gift to her wife, that’s why he was seen at Kaneko Jewelry Store. Eriko breaks into tears after learning the truth and remembers the good moments she had with her loved one.
