Susumu Mitsunaka (満仲 勧 Mitsunaka Susumu), also known by his alias Haruchika Kanatsumi (神奈摘 陽親 Kanatsumi Haruchika)[Note 2], is a Japanese movie director, storyboard artist and director. He was originally from Doga Kobo.

Biography
Known for his passion of baseball, Susumu Mitsunaka was noticed by Tsutomu Mizushima (水島 努) for the realism and fluidity of the batting movements while animating Big Windup! (おおきく振りかぶって), and Mitsunaka was appointed as action animation director for the series in 2010[1]. Ever since the sequel of that series was aired in 2010, he formally became an action animation director. In 2008, he was in charge of the screenplay and direction of the 226th episode of anime Sgt. Frog (ケロロ軍曹), thereafter he was frequently involved in the directing realm - notably, in 2012, he served as sub-director for anime Campione! (カンピオーネ!); in 2014, he directed Haikyu!! (ハイキュー!!), which was one of the most well-known works of his.
Mitsunaka's first involvement in Detective Conan was in 2019, when he did the storyboard work of Episode 961: The Glamping Mystery, under his alias Haruchika Kanatsumi (神奈摘 陽親). In December of 2021, he was revealed as the director for Movie 25: The Bride of Halloween[2].
