Yasutoshi Murakawa (村川 康敏 Murakawa Yasutoshi?) is a Japanese screenplay writer. He was a student of Hiroshi Kashiwabara and is a member of the Japan Writers' Guild.

Biography

Before debuting as a screenplay writer via Hideo Yamamoto (山本 英夫)'s original work Voyeur (のぞき屋) in 2006, Yasutoshi Murakawa self-trained at the 43rd Screenwriting Course Training Department, where he met and studied under Yumiko Inoue (井上 由美子), Takuya Nishioka (西岡 琢也), and Hiroshi Kashiwabara.

Furthermore, a movie that he has written and directed, Furuits Basket, won an award at the Indies Movie Festival (インディーズムービー・フェスティバル) in 2000.
