Trivia
- Excluding the remake of Moonlight Sonata Murder Case (episodes 1000-1001), this is the first time in 24 years that the episode title ends with "murder case"[N 1].
- This case features a different Joke Card of Conan impersonating the pose of Edogawa Rampo.
- This is Sumiko Kobayashi's sixth appearance in anime-original episodes. Precisely, the protagonist of Edogawa Rampo's Detective Boys from Kogoro Akechi series also shares the same surname; Yoshio Kobayashi (小林 芳雄).
