I did some cleanup. I rewrote the intro to be more informative. I also deleted that chunk about Holmes and Adler. It is based on mistaken fact. Adler is in love with and is happily married to her husband (whom Holmes helped her officially marry!), and Watson says Holmes is incapable of love and thus never loved Irene. Later fan works have tried to retcon this, but since we are talking original canon here, HolmesxIrene isn't appropriate for this page. Cleanup 12/20/11
Chekhov MacGuffin talk 20:25, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
Its strange, but the idea of Conan and Haibara's relationship/partnership is very, if not exactly, similar to Sherlock and Irene's actual relationship. Due to Conan/Shinichi aspiring to be a great detective like Sherlock Holmes, then it seems that series alone would be inspired by Doyle's stories and characters and along the way we would see or perhaps notice characters playing similar to Doyle's. Obviously, Conan would be Sherlock and Haibara would be Irene.
(Episode 129) The Girl from the Black Organization and the University Professor Murder Case - Volume 18 File 6 ~ Volume 19 File 1
I removed the part where it said "The unfeeling boy, unlike a normal sympathetic human being, denies the very-teary Ai Haibara clutching onto him like she was his only life line (in a way, he was) the hug she very well deserved.", because it was definitely not alright to write that in the first place. The author probably misinterpreted the situation and makes Conan look like a heartless jerk.
- Good call, just because it was a super random insert. This whole page is a relative disaster style wise, any help is appreciated. Chekhov MacGuffin talk 08:22, 5 April 2013 (PDT)
General Improvement
Guys, I've added some images and rearranged them, reviewed some of the episodes and added a few details. What else could we do to improve the page? Happy to help
