Kaito becomes extremely cold towards Akako when he discovers Aoko has already chosen Fujie as her ski partner. Aoko is equally upset and wonders why Kaito didn't ask her sooner. Kaito and Aoko ski down the ski slope together for the class's costumed skiing competition.

Much to Kaito's surprise, Aoko partners up with another male student from the class who also can't ski well. To his dismay, Kaito ends up partnering with Akako. Neither Kaito nor Aoko are happy with this outcome, but could an appearance by Kaitou Kid turn things around?}}
