Part 1

Attempted Murder
	Location: Shiki Island Victim: Kogoro Mouri Suspects: Goro Kinoshita, Takeo Mikami, Yasuo Uehara and Kouji Hamada While they are going to Shiki Island to investigate the case, The mayor offer drinks to Kogoro and became drunk. After he's giving a speech to the people in Shiki Island. His butt caught fire, and good thing he was saved.

	Location: Shiki Island Victim: Kogoro Mouri Suspects: Unknown culprit While he is still injured, and now he is sleeping, and he was almost cut his butt by the katana, he wants to caught the culprit. He saw Hamada dead and he thought he's the one who did it.

Location: Shiki Island Victim: Kouji Hamada Cause of death: Throat impaled by katana Suspects: Kogoro Mouri and Yasuo Uehara When Kogoro travels to Shiki Island to give a lecture, Chief Mikami enlists his help to find a billion dollars in gold that was lost off their shores. But when someone tries to take his life, Kogoro decides to leave. However, Chief Mikami forces the detective to continue his search while the death toll rises. Are the killings the result of the Pirate's Curse, or does someone else have their sights on the gold?

Attempted Murder
	Location: Mayor's office in Shiki Island Victim: Goro Kinoshita Suspects: Yasuo Uehara While Kinoshita was having private conversation with Yasuo, he shot Kinoshita in the arm, running in the hallway, and found Kinoshita injured, police officers found him running away.

Location: Underground near at sea Victim: Yasuo Uehara Cause of death: Gunshot wound Suspects: Goro Kinoshita Framed for the death of his assailant, Kogoro faces a murder wrap and it's up to Conan to clear his name. But when the two prime suspects are killed themselves, Conan is back to square one. In order to solve the mystery, the young sleuth realizes that he has to go where no one else will; into the eerie darkness of the Pirates' Cave!

Resolution

The culprit is Goro Kinoshita. Kouji Hamada was originally one of its crew who killed his comrades to keep the gold to himself and set up an identity as the island's new lighthouse keeper, whose name is apparently Aoki. Kinoshita captured and tortured him for the ship's location, later killing him. He then killed Uehara to prevent him from getting the spoils as well. Conan deduces the gunshot wound he received from Uehara was self-inflicted given how it only scorched skin. and that there was a gunpowder burn (indicating indirect close range fire).

Motive

His motive was for the missing billion yen gold on the Shiki Island Ghost Ship.
