Akira and Hiroshi had stolen the will of a well-known wealthy man a year ago, starting a feud between the family members regarding his property. They reported on the same exaggerating the resentment of the family members in a magazine, escalating the situation in which the family members attempted to murder one-another. Their article was heavily criticized for creating a murder-like situation.
