After cornering him in the props room, they dropped a puppet on him which knocked him out before stabbing him to death.

Culprit: Takeru Kochi
Trying to escape police, Kochi drove Yonekura's car he had just stolent without his partner-in-crime Mihara since he was caught by the police. Since he didn't to stop his car, he nearly ran over Ran but she was saved on time by Fumimaro Ayanokoji who just happened to come by. Kazuha, who was walking with Ran, escaped getting ran over since Ran pushed her on the side.

Cause of death: Explosion from car crash impact
Suspects: Unknown
After driving past Ran, Kochi sped but a taxi came from another runway and Kochi was forced to turn at his right and crashed into the nearby river. The unstable explosive inside the car caused it to explode an kill Kochi on the spot. It is believed by the police that the original target to be killed by the explosive was Yonekura and not Kochi.

While Onda was drunk, he drove on Takaragaike and his car exploded killing him instantly. The explosive used was acetone peroxide, just like in Kochi's car crash accident.

Otaki comes to the filming site and brings Heiji and Conan to another case which just happened : Ryohei Suemura, an employee for the company which produces Kamen Yaiba vs. Gomera was killed when he opened a box of explosives (the same used in the previous murders) in an abandoned warehouse which was to be used to film some movie scenes.

10 years ago, four people robbed a mansion in Kobe and took away 120 million yen. Later investigations made it clear that the culprits were likely to be the four members of "Team Yonekura". While analyzing the proof that was on DVD, they find out that indeed the four of them were part of it but that there was a fifth member, the one who filmed the video.
