In episode 397, He is insisting to Aikawa Etsuko that the victim committed suicide as opposed to being murdered. He then asks [[Mouri Kogoro]] to prove he is right however due to [[Conan]]'s investigating, the culprit is found.

He is then afterwards seen at the The Sweet Taste Shop with Conan and Mouri eating with them and complimenting Mouri on how well he did with the case which Mouri doesnt remember since he was put to sleep by Conan.
