- Hajimete no Otsukai ("The First Errand") is actually a TV program broadcast in Japan since 1991 that goes quite similarly to the event shown in this case.
- Much like Ran in Mountain Villa Bandaged Man Murder Case, this little boy is a target of a determined murderer on the offchance that he child actually saw him; he did not. He only saw a man, without knowing that he was a murderer.
- There is a First Errand Contest being held by the Beika Shopping District, and the little kid contestants are leaving from Beika Park.
