Case

Situation

Conan and the Detective Boys are invited to "Smile Village" elderly facility. Suprisingly, the old women who live there are fans of the Detective Boys, and they are very rich. The Detective Boys then have suspicion on the owners.

Location: Smile Village Victims: Azami Azagami, Botan Hotaka, Sumire Sumida and Sakura Sakuma Age: 77 years old (Azami and Sumire), 73 years old (Botan) and 78 years old (Sakura) Type: Nursing home scam Culprits: Tango Hohoemi, Waltz Hohoemi and Ondo Shibuzura (?) After seeing the owners' bizarre smiles, the Detective Boys decide to further investigate their whereabouts. While spying on them, they learn that the couple wants to use the old women's money that they are managing to buy resorts in Dubai.

The Detective Boys end up being able to stop the scam, as they managed to convince Ondo Shibuzura to let them go. It turned out Ondo didn't like the scam and actually liked to take care of the old women.

Aftermath

Tango and Waltz are forced to keep their nursing home open, and Ondo become the chief director. The four old women then stop admiring the Detective Boys, as they have found their new idol : Ondo, whose heroic actions against his employers attracted the four women's admiration.
