Plot

	Thief: Kaitou Kid Target: Blue Wonder Owner: Jirokichi Suzuki Location: Suzuki Museum Date: October 12 Advanced Notice: It's my pleasure to accept your challenge. I'll appear at 8:00 PM on October 12th. Expect my first appearance the eve just before. PS. Just like Blue Wonder's name, I'll walk in from the sky. Golden sculpture holding the blue jewel.

Kid didn't in fact walk mid-air. He did so the previous night the induce the public into thinking he will do the same on the day of the heist, but that day, the Kid that appeared mid-air was a dummy controlled by Jii's helicopter which was above it. Kid then disguised as Jirokichi Suzuki and ran away, but was caught by Conan.

Manga to anime changes

• The anime removes all depictions of Jirokichi Suzuki's dog Lupin, even in scenes where he was originally present.
