Done. Sorry for the delay. I was on vacations. To download a SVG, go to wikipedia and click on the flag, then click again until you only see the flag (the url in the address bar should end with ".svg"). Then right click and save. :Done. You simply have to click on the flag on wikipedia until you only see the image and nothing else. Only then you can do "Save image as" and save the flag as a "svg". Then simply upload it here as you would normally upload an image. Yay!
Hey there, glad to see you got the login issue fixed! ^^ Welcome to the DCW Wiki! :D I am so happy to see another contributor to this Wiki, as more help is definitely needed. Also, thank you very much for adding titlecards that do not have the subs underneath them. I always try to make sure they don't have the subtitle listed underneath, but unfortunately some subbers leave them there for the whole duration of the title. But either way, I am happy to see you helping in fixing that, as well as doing article work! Glad to see you around, and happy editing! CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:25, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Hooray! Out of curiosity I noticed the transliteration for "Feel Your Heart" was posted and I found the missing Kanji lyrics on Anime Lyrics dot com. I have tried to cite the author and the webpage, but it seems like my usual method of referencing on the normal Wikipedia isn't working here. ^^;; How do I properly cite the webpage? --skyechan
- Yeah, Wikipedia uses a pretty advanced and weird way to do citations now, since there are so many citation templates. We here still use the old style, as seen in the section called Introduction. And don't forget to add a section titled "References" and have the </references> tag! CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:33, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for fixing the reference for me! :3 --skyechan

Cast
Having watched the Valentine Murder Case episode personally, I know for a fact that Agasa, the Detective Boys, and Kogoro all appeared in the episode. In fact, Conan stuns Kogoro to solve the case. Thus, I added all of those characters back into the cast section. ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:21, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds fine to me. As I said, I was just going based off the Koware.net tags. --skyechan
- I think Koware.net only lists the notable characters. And based off that site, characters like Officer Tome would probably never be listed. I have always considered that section as the place where every character that appeared in the episode goes. Either way, I am LOVING all of the amazing edits you're doing to the wiki. Great stuff. ^^ Keep up the excellent work! CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:25, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
- Glad you like the edits. :) I'm just glad I managed to figure out how to make the Item template. xD;; --skyechan

Next Conan's Hints
Thank you SO much for helping me out by adding missing Conan's hints. Sometimes the subbers didn't bother to add them, as you'll find out as you go through later seasons, so any help you can provide me is a godsend. ^^ CarpetCrawlermessage me 19:13, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
- And thanks for correcting "Kaiten." That's what I heard, so I looked it up online and it turned out that that wasn't even a real Japanese word... o_O So I left it there and reminded myself that I needed to correct it at some point. Thanks again! Do you have some sort of instant messaging? CarpetCrawlermessage me 20:51, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yes. I'm skyedream75 on AIM. --skyechan
Anime Season Tables
Actually the titles column doesn't have a fixed width currently. It will auto-resize depending on the size of its content and/or the size of the other columns. What I did for now was change the manga source column to use abbreviations to help make the table more enjoyable to read. If you still think a fixed set width would be appropriate for the titles columns, you are free to experiment with it! Simply add:
style="width:<put some width here>px;"|
right before "Episode title" on the BeginTable_Season template. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions! I'll be more than happy to help out. :) Keep up the great edits! --Maurice 23:29, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! Finally figured out a size set I think that works well for the tables. :) --skyechan
Andre Camel
Hey there, just wondering, where'd you get the Andrel Camel pictures from? CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:18, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
- Google image search. There was a screencap of him in the Italian Wikipedia apparently, so I just cropped it in Photoshop. --skyechan
- Alright. I'd rather that the main profile image be something that we took ourselves, so feel free to take a screenshot of him from an episode, if you'd like to get a profile picture as well, and I'll create the regular Andre Camel article. ^^ I'm close to that Clash of Red and Black arc, titlecard wise, but if you'd like to take a snapshot, go ahead. CarpetCrawlermessage me 22:26, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Aoyama's Many Deaths and Conan Side Images
Sure! Good idea btw. Just one question, would it be possible to also follow the 145x215 specs for the Conan side images? Like maybe resize and increase the height a bit (it's ok if there's more "bricks" at the top and bottom ^^). It's just so that they flow nicely with the layout (or it might break it a bit). I'll try to work on the template sometime today if I can. --Maurice 05:57, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
- I see. What about having some of the "Meitantei" in the picture and keeping the Conan image at the top. If they all look the same (with the meitantei in the picture), it would give the same feel when viewing each of the Volume's infobox and make it "standard" somehow. Another option could be to do some image editing and create some kind of a "graphical" template where we could just put the Conan image in the middle. I could do some experimentation there if necessary. Just out of curiosity, would you mind telling me your source for the pictures? (or are they all google images?) :o --Maurice 06:17, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
- Wow, that's pretty impressive lol! I really admire your dedication. :) Sounds great, I'll do some testing later with the conan side images and see if there's anything I can come up with. Once I do, I'll make the changes to the template accordingly. ^_^
- Just wondering, can I add you to msn if you have it? It'd be cool to chat sometimes and easier if we're working on something for example. :) --Maurice 00:29, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Magic Kaito Volumes
Sorry for the delay. I was not home today. First of all, good job with the new templates. And no worries, leave it to me. I'll work on it. ^^ --Maurice 00:31, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- It has something to do with the "root" article which is Magic Kaito here. The template checks the current page's name to determine what to show (summarized list or extended one). It looks like some of the templates still check for the root "Manga" instead of "Magic Kaito". That would explain it. I'll have a look. No worries, we'll get it working for sure. ;) Oh another thing. Would it be possible to redo the back cover images so that they're 275x270px instead. This way it'll match the width of the volume's image in the infobox and will have the best quality this way (since it would be its native size). As for the Volume list, we can tell the template to resize it to 240px on the fly. Right now it's stretching the image to fit in the InfoBox (as can be seen here: Magic Kaito Volume 1), which doesn't look too bad. But with a native width of 275px, it'd probably look even nicer. ^^ What do you think? --Maurice 01:04, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
- Cool! Thanks. And I was asking because there's a way to show side chapters (instead of "Chapter ?"). Just use special=1 to hide the "Chapter" prefix. Just have a look at the change I made here for a concrete example: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/index.php?title=Magic_Kaito_Volume_1-4&curid=1829&diff=6982&oldid=6968 --Maurice 01:30, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

Omake chapters
Hey, could you tell me how many specific pages of omake chapters you want translated, as well? CarpetCrawlermessage me 01:54, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
- Volume 2's omake = 3 pages, Volume 4's omake (comic part) = 3 pages, Volume 4's omake (info part) = 6 pages --skyechan
- Nothing in volume's 1 and 3? CarpetCrawlermessage me 02:50, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
- Volume 1's has been completed before ( http://www.onemanga.com/Magic_Kaito/6/30/ ) and Volume 3 doesn't have an omake comic. --skyechan
- Alright! Sounds good. We may get someone who can traslate the omake chapters, so keep your fingers crossed. CarpetCrawlermessage me 02:55, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

Shiratori
Hello there! Do you remember if Shiratori appeared in this episode? The AGA Search website claims so, but I'm not 100% positive he really appeared, as sometimes the information in there is incorrect. I know you only just recently passed that episode, so I was wondering if you happen to know of if he appeared in it, or not. CarpetCrawlermessage me 04:23, 7 January 2010 (UTC)

- Alright, well, we now have a translator for MK, so would you be able to scan the missing chapter of MK (We need to use a our own scans, we can't use the ones I found,) and the omake chapters, and send them over to me via e-mail? There's no rush for when this has to be done, so don't worry. Let me know when you can get the scans done. CarpetCrawlermessage me 23:57, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

The Late Gouri Daisuke
You seem to understand Japanese better than I do, can you translate these two statements regarding the death of Gouri Daisuke for me? I get the gist of them, I just want to be positive what they say.
(From Inoue Kazuhiko) 昨年末のアンパンマンの収録では元気のない感じだった。結婚してお子さんもいたので、あまり連れ出すのも…と思い、付き合いが減ったのが残念。もっといっぱい話したかった
(From Minaguchi Yuko) もしもドラゴンボール改が続いて、ビーデルを演じる時が来たとしても…郷里さんがミスターサタンじゃないなら、私もビーデルやりたくないと泣き、みんなを困らせました。
Oh, and could you please respond on my talkpage, so I get a notification as soon as you answer? Thank you for any help you can offer. NakagawaRyou 05:43, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, it's okay. Because of the problems we just had with the site, I went ahead and asked someone else to help me out, so it's all good... except for the whole Robin Mask/Mister Satan/Heihachi Mishima being dead part. NakagawaRyou 18:24, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
286-288
Hey, Skyechan, do you happen to know when the remastered version of 286-288 originally aired? Thanks! CarpetCrawlermessage me 09:19, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
- Wonderful, thank you so much!! ^^ I was wondering, would you be able to provide me a list of airdates for every remastered episode? I recently learned that remastered episodes have new scenes in them, and will get to work on things involving them. I even have screencaps from 286-288's new scenes. Midori Kuroba (?)
Indeed, it's supposed to be from the upcoming anime special. Someone on Twitter (AkemiMiyano815) told me about it. Here's how it went:
AkemiMiyano815: @dconanworld checked out your wiki acount. Toichi's wife's name is Midori in the new anime. it premeire april 17th on Animax Me: Thanks. And when you say new anime, are you talking about the new movie? AkemiMiyano815: @dconanworld lol no i mean anime. animax has announced on april 17th The Magic Kaitou anime will be premeired. Me: Cool! That's good to know! :) Thanks. AkemiMiyano815: @dconanworld yeah and it was mentioned her name was Kuroba Midori-chan. i like her hair...partially because mine is styled that way V.V;;;
--Maurice 01:23, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
- Then I guess it would indeed be Chikage then. I don't know of any accurate way to check the reading but it does make more sense to go with Chikage for now. Thanks for checking btw! ^^ --Maurice 03:21, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Hey Skye! No worries, I got it covered. :) The thing is that the "{{#ifeq:{{PAGENAME}}|" bit must be followed by the name of the page that holds the summarized titles of the different items. I don't know if you remember the conversation we had about it a while ago: About the lyrics and videos on the wiki. But yeah, it's fine. I actually started putting them back myself. I was just putting into practice the "stance" laid out at the time. Feel free to add your views on the subject over there if needed too. Yeah, that's a good idea. If it's part of the Short Stories, it doesn't have to have a separate sidebar entry link since there's already one for the Short Stories. --Maurice 18:25, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Collectibles Table Template
Yeah, I didn't have time to fine-tune it earlier. I also removed Tell Me A Lie from the sidebar btw. Anyway, I hope the Collectibles page will look nicer and more informative now. It was looking a little bit too plain for me. :) --Maurice 02:42, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

Character List Images
What you're asking for is actually already implemented. :) If you look at Template:Char you will see that the second parameter is the "Image name". All I had to do on Drama Episode 1#Cast was add the actor's name such as: {{Char|Shinichi Kudo|Junpei Mizobata}}. But remember that on the profile pages of the actors, like for Junpei Mizobata, the picture in the infobox should end with "Profile" such as: "Junpei Mizobata Profile.jpg". And "Junpei Mizobata.jpg" should be a 100x100 pixel image of the actor (preferably while on the show). --Maurice 14:06, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
RE: Affiliating with Other DC Wikis
That's a good idea indeed. I see that they just started though but the wiki does show some promise. I also noticed that they used our pictures in the characters section and some other places.. I think it would be nice to affiliate them. But it might be wise to wait a bit to gauge their levels of commitments and see how serious they are before getting involved. Maybe let it mature a bit more? But, like I said, I'm definitely open to the idea. It might just be a little too soon at this point imo. Let's see where they're at in a month or two and assess the situation then. What do you think? --Maurice 16:00, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
