Situation
Sonoko, Ran, and Conan are at Kuwanoki High School to meet up with Eimi Chikada, who called Sonoko over because today (7/11) she received a warning letter that contained the initials EC, which she thought referred to herself. The letter said, "EC will be brought to justice!" She met Sonoko at her job and they became friends. She waves to them from above when suddenly she appears to get pulled down by someone. The three of them run toward a room with a door marked "Orihime Club", and they find her lying on the ground with bits of hair around. She tells them that someone pulled on one of her pigtails from behind and sliced her hair with a utility knife. Sonoko and Conan search around the school but could not find the culprit.

There were incidents that happened before today's. Three days ago (7/8), someone put chili inside Megumi Godai's (MG) bottle of juice.

Yesterday (7/10), someone put a toy spider inside Chie Tamai's (CT) backpack.

Additionally, there were warnings prior to those incidents; they contained the initials of the victims and the exact dates of the incidents. Written on the letters were "MG will suffer my wrath!" and "CT will face retribution!" Those warnings were sent to Orihime Club, which accept letters instead of emails. After Eimi was saved, she gives Sonoko a letter she just picked up. It says, "TB dies at sundown tonight!" With only about two hours before sunset, it's up to Sonoko, Ran, and Conan to investigate the incidents and expose the culprit.
