Ayu Imoto (井元 愛夕 Imoto Ayu ) is a Japanese animator. She does key animation and animation direction for Detective Conan anime and movies.

Ayu was initially from Studio Mu. She joined the anime production in 2006, starting with the 1st part of The Sealed Western-Style Window, she was the in-between animation for that episode. The following year, she got promoted as key animator, and continually worked for seven years. Then, in 2014, she shortly got arranged to assistant animation director for the 2nd part of Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story 9.
