Ayako Kurata (倉田 綾子 Kurata Ayako ) is a Japanese animation director affiliated with Studio Live. She is married to fellow animator Hiroshi Takeuchi.
Works in Detective Conan
Starting with the 1st part of A Mysterious Sniper Murder Case in 1998, Kurata began to participate in the production of the Detective Conan anime. After that she did 13 episodes of key animation work, and quit the anime production team in 2000, after finishing the key animation work of the 1st part of The Water Palace of Five Colors Legend.
In addition, Kurata served as an assistant animation director for once, in the Detective Conan anime, which was the 2nd part of The Indiscriminate Stadium Threatening Case.
