Tomoko Fukunaga (福永 智子 Fukunaga Tomoko?) is a Japanese animator. She does in-between animation, key animation, animation director, and assistant animation director works in Detective Conan anime and movies.

Works in Detective Conan

Fukunaga was originally affiliated with Studio Mu. She joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2004, starting with the 2nd part of Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story 5. She did in-between animation back then, and only got promoted to do key animation starting with The Man Who Called for an Ambulance. This continued until 2009, afterwards she temporarily quit the prodution of the Detective Conan anime. She then returned to the production team in 2013, which she served as animation director the following year. After finishing the animation correction work for the Shinichi BOY arc of Memories from Sakura Class, she quit the anime production team.

Although she is not working on the anime currently, she still works for the movies and acts as assistant animation director occasionally.
