She also had written some books such as ''Chibi Maruko-chan Picture Book'' (ちびまる子ちゃんえほん), ''World Masterpiece Theater'' (世界名作劇場), and ''A Forest Where You Can Meet Beetles'' (カブトムシに会える森). Incidentally, she won the 9th Shoji Ohtomo Awards for the Honorable Mention.
