Aki Kumada (熊田 亜輝 Kumada Aki?) is a Japanese animator. He takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime.

Biography

Aki Kumada was originally affiliated with Studio Wanpack. Kumada joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2005, in which he served as key animator for Episode 420: Sword of the Eight-Headed Serpent (Part 2).

In 2009, Kumada returned to the anime production team, but this time, as an animator from Studio Wanpack. His drawing quality was apparently higher than the fellow animators affiliated with Studio Wanpack at that time. After 2012, Kumada's involvement in the Detective Conan had lowered significantly; until 2018, Episode 887: Kaitou Kid and the Trick Box (Part 1), due to Studio Wanpack had gotten disbanded, Kumada completely quit the Detective Conan anime production.
