Mayumi Okamoto (岡本 真由美 Okamoto Mayumi?) is a Japanese animator. She does animation director, key animation, and in-between animation work in Detective Conan anime, movies and OVAs.

Works in Detective Conan

Okamoto joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 1999, starting with The Streetcar's Sudden Stopping Case. And did key animation regularly for the anime. Okamoto quit the anime production team in 2006, leading her most recent work for the Detective Conan anime as the key animation of Preview Screening of Fate and Friendship.

Just like Tomoaki Sakiyama, Okamoto also only served as animation director for Detective Conan for once, in the OVA from 2006, working along with Sakiyama as well.
