Mari Saito (斉藤 茉利 Saitō Mari) is a Japanese animator. She does assistant animation director, key animation, and in-between animation work in Detective Conan anime and movies.
Works in Detective Conan
Saito joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2016, starting with the 1st part of the one hour special Conan and Ebizo's Kabuki Jūhachiban Mystery. After that, she only did key animation for the anime episodes. She temporarily quit in 2018, but then returned in 2020, proceeded her participation in the Detective Conan anime.
For the Detective Conan movies, she first served as roles like in-between animation, key animation, or 2nd key animation. Later on, Saito was promoted to assistant animation director, working for the movies.
