Akihiro Okuzawa debuted as an animator in 1989, via the anime Prestigious! Third Baseball Club (名門!第三野球部). He first joined the production of the Detective Conan in 2016, and worked on the "Episode ONE" TV special, then he went to do key animation for the anime, starting with Episode 869: Conan Disappeared on the Cliff (Part 1). Okuzawa was then promoted to a storyboard artist in 2023, starting with Episode 1070: The Surprise That Leads to Tragedy, until present.
